This is a screenshot of one of the effects I used for the starting sequence. I decided to use the angled title sequence that forms on screen to try and replicate the style of the surveillance genre. I think that it fits in with the surveillance theme as the font forms onto the scene creating a feeling of the unknown:

On this screenshot I added in the sound effect of footsteps to replace the audio of the scene so that the film is of better quality:
